Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that align with the aims and scope of this journal. Submissions will undergo an initial assessment by the editorial team to ensure relevance, originality, and adherence to journal requirements. Manuscripts deemed suitable will proceed to peer review, while those that do not meet these standards may be desk rejected.

Ethical Responsibilities

  • Permissions and Copyrights: Authors must obtain permissions for any copyrighted materials (e.g., images, datasets, or documents) included in the submission. Evidence of permissions should accompany the manuscript if required.
  • Author Consent: All listed authors must consent to their inclusion and confirm their substantial contributions to the research.
  • Ethics Approval: If applicable, research must comply with the ethical guidelines and legal requirements of the country where the study was conducted. Approval from an appropriate ethics committee should be documented and referenced in the manuscript.

Quality Standards

To enhance the likelihood of acceptance, authors should ensure:

  • The research design is robust, and the argumentation is clear and well-structured.
  • Titles should be concise and descriptive. Abstracts must summarize the research comprehensively, providing readers with a standalone overview.
  • Manuscripts should be free from grammatical errors and formatted according to journal guidelines. Tables and figures should be clearly numbered and labeled.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Authors must confirm compliance with the following before submission:

  • The manuscript adheres to the journal’s formatting and submission guidelines.
  • The work is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under review by another journal.
  • References are complete, accurate, and formatted correctly.
  • All tables, figures, and supplementary materials are properly labeled and incorporated into the manuscript.
  • Permissions have been secured for any third-party materials included in the manuscript.

Article Types

Submissions should conform to the article types and policies outlined for this journal. For further details, please refer to the “Section Policies” document.

Privacy Policy

The names, email addresses, and personal information provided during submission will be used exclusively for journal purposes. This information will not be shared with third parties or used for any purpose beyond those explicitly stated.

This revised version organizes the guidelines for clarity, adds professionalism to the tone, and ensures all necessary information is explicitly stated while remaining reader-friendly.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
